  • Biography/ Background

    Dr Jessie Byrne is the program coordinator for the Bachelor of Arts (Advanced) program. She also teaches in the fields of creative writing and internships.

    Jessie was awarded her PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Adelaide in 2019. She also has tertiary qualifications in politics, public policy and journalism.

    She has extensive experience and policy and senior management roles in the public sector within the Australian, Tasmanian and South Australian governments. She has experience in the community sector in a range of policy fields as well as a board director. She works in the fields of policy, writing and editing.
