About me
I am a materials-focused engineer with a strong background in laboratory testing, applied research, and hands-on engineering within defence and academic environments. I bring a diverse professional and cultural perspective, along with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Over the course of my career, I have gained extensive experience working in laboratory and technical environments, including roles with Defence Australia, the University of Adelaide, and the University of Malaya. My work has involved conducting mechanical and environmental testing such as vibration, thermal, and shock analysis, as well as supporting the design and modification of experimental setups. These experiences have developed my ability to work both practically and analytically—skills that align closely with the hands-on and investigative nature of this role. I have a strong interest in understanding product behaviour, particularly in identifying failure modes and improving performance.
