    Detailed Description: Research and development in polymer science, interfacial technology and materials engineering, with expertise in colloid and interfacial science, surfactants and self-assembled amphiphiles, dispersions and emulsions, microgels and hydrogels, polymer synthesis and characterization, polysaccharides and natural polymer modification, fullerene containing hybrid polymers, biomaterials and nanomaterials, boron chemistry, drug/gene controlled release, early-stage disease detection, nanotemplating and nanofabrication, catalysts, lithium-air batteries and solar cells, thermo-analysis and solution chemistry, biosensing and bioanalysis, analytical and physical chemistry, thermodynamics, fluorescence, light scattering, Raman/SERS, rheology, calorimetry, etc.
