Sally is a Social Worker. She has worked in a variety of mental health settings including a specialised Personality Disorder Service, Community Mental Health team, Forensics and Disability services. She worked for 9 years in the mental health sector in the UK. Since 2015 Sally has worked at The University of Adelaide as a Triage and Assessment Counsellor. This involves working with students who require more immediate assessment and assistance. Sally is also a trained Mental Health First Aid Instructor and provides accredited training to both staff and students.
Sally is dedicated to providing a supportive and caring space for students to talk about their difficulties. She is passionate about raising the profile of mental health issues and breaking down the barriers forpeople seeking support.
