Biography/ Background
Dr Suzanne Mashtoub leads a research group at the Gastroenterology Department, Women’s and Children’s Hospital, investigating the efficacy of nutraceuticals (particularly Emu Oil) in intestinal disease. Dr Mashtoub’s team specialises in pre-clinical models of intestinal disorders, as part of the wider Digestive Health Research Group. Additionally, Dr Mashtoub is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the Adelaide Medical School and recently completed a NHMRC Postdoctoral Biomedical Fellowship.
