  • Biography/ Background

I am a Lecturer in the School of Psychology at the University of Adelaide. I am currently developing learning materials for an online graduate diploma. I also work collaboratively with researchers in the Department of Public Health and Caring Sciences at Uppsala University in Sweden. My current research is in the area of life course epidemiology, specifically concerning mental health, health behaviours, heart disease and socioeconomic differences in health.

I graduated from the combined PhD/MPsych (Health) program in 2017. My PhD was supervised by Professor Helen Winefield, A/Professor Charli Sargent, and Dr Amanda Hutchinson. My PhD thesis considered psychosocial work factors and their association with measures of overweight and obesity, as well as energy balance-related behaviours (e.g. diet and physical activity).
