Learning video design principles
As we continue our transition out of the Emergency Remote Teaching mode that has defined Higher Education over the past few years, we look for ways to maintain quality while creating sustainability for the long term. In the Learning, Enhancement and Innovation design and development team supporting PACE (Professional and Continuing Education), we work with subject matter experts on a daily basis, assisting them to produce high-quality videos that are sustainable over many iterations of micro-credentials and short courses.
Designing online demonstrations
As we come to the end of 2020 and begin to prepare courses for 2021, it might be time to try something new in your online delivery, particularly for courses that are being delivered in the Remote and Dual teaching modes. An incredibly useful teaching technique is to provide them with demonstrations, modeling for students the process of completing a task and the skills and techniques involved.

Enhancing Learning with Video
The LEI Media Production Team provide support to all University of Adelaide staff in developing engaging learning videos. We produce high quality video content that compliments and enhances face to face and blended learning, as well as support the Online Programs Team in the production of fully online post-graduate degrees and MOOC’s on the edX platform.
