To find out more about the role of Course Ambassadors, we spoke to 2nd year student and HMS Course Ambassador, Olivia Pineau. She outlines exactly how the role works and how teaching staff can benefit from engaging with a Course Ambassador.
The Centre for Global Food and Resources at the University of Adelaide is creating future leaders in Agribusiness through their two postgraduate Masters programs: Master of Agribusiness and Master of Global Food and Agricultural Business. We spoke with three of these Master’s students about their studies and their career plans.
Course Ambassadors are students employed by Learning Enhancement and Innovation on a casual basis to assist individual Course Coordinators and Teaching Staff in supporting the University’s efforts to deliver remote learning opportunities.
Meet University of Adelaide student, Rhaneela Punitham. She is in her final year of university, studying a Bachelor of Health Sciences/Bachelor of Mathematical and Computer Sciences, with majors in microbiology/immunology, pharmacology and statistics.
Meet University of Adelaide student, Mahendra Chitrarasu. He is a 2nd year Bachelor of Arts (Advanced) student, majoring in English and philosophy.
The Australian Financial Review recently published an article titled “Taking Steps to Produce a Job-Ready Generation” which listed the University of Adelaide as a finalist in the Most Employable Students Award, and also listed KPMG as a finalist in the Most Popular Internship Employer (large) Award.
