Academic Faculties
The University has three academic faculties, each with a number of schools and disciplines:
Faculty of Sciences, Engineering, and Technology
- School of Agriculture, Food and Wine
- School of Architecture and Civil Engineering* (formerly School of Architecture & Built Environment and School of Civil, Environmental & Mining Engineering)
- School of Biological Sciences
- School of Chemical Engineering* (formerly School of Chemical Engineering & Advanced Materials and incorporates former Australian School of Petroleum and Energy Resources (ASPER))
- School of Computer and Mathematical Sciences* (formerly School of Computer Science and School of Mathematical Sciences)
- School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering* (formerly School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering and School of Mechanical Engineering)
- School of Physics, Chemistry and Earth Sciences* (formerly School of Physical Sciences)
- School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences
* On 1 January, 2023, the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology implemented a new School structure. New websites are in development, but in the interim, please refer to previous School sites for more information.
