We celebrate 100 years of the Kansas City sound with compositions from Jimmy Lunceford, Andy Kirk's Twelve Clouds of Joy, Walter Page's Blue Devils, Jay McShann, Bennie Moten, Count Basie, Lester Young & Charlie Parker to contemporary artists Karryn Allison and Pat Metheny. The jazz staff and University of Adelaide Big Band will feature guitarist James Muller and his compositions as well.
