Benito is a passionate teacher whose innovative and engaging approaches to curriculum development, student assessment and feedback practices have enhanced student learning and critical thinking in the study of politics for well over a decade. His teaching has had a significant impact on generations of students and many colleagues. Benito has also been instrumental in the articulation and dissemination of discovery learning and the formulation of study tour best practice at the University of Adelaide.

Associate Professor Lyndsey Collins-Praino finds innovative ways to enhance engagement and improve student outcomes in neuroscience. These techniques include custom-designed elearning resources, targeted at making the 3D nature of the brain come alive, as well as the novel incorporation of gamification. Students have responded extremely positively, as evidenced by her consistently excellent eSELT feedback and her multiple prestigious teaching awards. She is internationally recognised for these efforts, presenting her scholarly work at workshops and conferences worldwide.

Melissa is a passionate HDR Supervisor who creates a positive and rewarding international student experience. She builds student capacity and work readiness via three pillars or practice including: (i) active stewardship, (ii) high quality scholarship and (iii) work readiness. She helps present and graduated students, to produce high quality publications, work placements and internships and builds their capacity to make their own contribution to geography when they return home.

Professor Page is passionate about research training and has successfully supervised 10 PhD, with 3 Deans Commendations. Her enthusiasm for research training is also evident by her mentoring of students beyond her official supervisory roles. Director of Research Education, she is responsible for research training across the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. Supervisory success is testimony to her ability to calmly deal with issues and guide/mentor students through their studies and into independent researchers.
