Ray Last Laboratory

A major refurbishment and reconfiguration of the Ray Last Laboratory has created a state-of-the-art facility for undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Anatomy and ensures the continued operation of South Australia’s largest Body Donation Program.

Ray Last Laboratory with surgical tables, lighting and equipment

The works significantly improve workflow and amenity for specialist lab staff, increase operational efficiency and accommodate larger class sizes and growth in student numbers. Importantly, the works allows for concurrent teaching in the North and South labs, as well as anatomy lab duties, including receiving, storing, embalming, dissecting and dispatching cadavers.
