Project detail

The Adelaide University vision is to deliver Australia’s most accessible, contemporary and future-focused learning and teaching experience, with every course underpinned by a digitally rich learning environment, incorporating the latest learning technologies, advanced teaching methods, and innovative connectivity. Supporting this vision is the creation of eight voice recording studios (VRS) adjacent to existing media hubs to support academic course development and AU digital content.

Eight VRS will be constructed with functionality and acoustic rating based on the Jeffrey Smart Voice Recording Studio (JS6-16B, UniSA) to enable high quality voice recording. One studio at each campus will be DDA compliant.

  • Package A: City East – Three new studios in Horace Lamb level 2, adjacent the existing Digital Presentation Suite.
  • Package B: City West – Three new studios in the Jeffrey Smart building.
  • Package C: Mawson Lakes – Two new studios in the MLK building.
  • Expected completion is December 2025.
