Vibro-Acoustics Research Facility
Stage 2 of the Engineering South upgrade focuses on the creation of a Vibro Acoustics Research facility for the Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences.
Modernising and transforming the facilities will support high-quality, interdisciplinary research programs; enhance and expand research and consulting capabilities; and support the Masters in Acoustics and Masters in Marine Engineering programs, as well as other emerging curriculum themes in Defence and Aerospace engineering.
- Refurbishment of the existing acoustic laboratories
- Co-locating the Level 1 vibrations laboratory
- Creation of contemporary and flexible teaching and research spaces
Commenced in September 2019, with expected completion in February 2020.
