Working together with the Central Adelaide Local Health Network, the University will establish SAiGENCI in the heart of the Adelaide BioMed City to consolidate and grow excellence in cancer discovery, diagnosis and treatment.
Major refurbishment of Adelaide Health and Medical Sciences building Level 9 southern side to replace the existing office space to create state of the art research facility.
Importantly, SAiGENCI will provide the opportunity to link SA’s cancer research efforts to the national and international cancer mission.
Includes PC2-rated wet labs and minor changes to the northern office space for the new leading edge medical research institute South Australian ImmunoGENomics Cancer Institute (SAiGENCI).
Expected completion by end of September 2022.
