ADEPT - Designing and Delivering Quality WIL Experiences

This ADEPT module will cover the why, what, and how of designing and delivering quality Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) experiences through the application of evidence-based approaches that are responsive to current industry and community needs. It will address three dimensions of a quality WIL experience: student experience, industry engagement, and curriculum design.

Through engaging with real examples of WIL in practice, you will develop skills in designing, delivering, and evaluating the quality of, WIL experiences. This module is part of the Emerging Leaders pathway and therefore is intended to inform the practice of those with course design responsibilities.

While this is a fully online, mostly self-paced module, it is delivered within a specific time frame so that you can benefit from peer learning and interactions with experienced practitioners in the discussion forums.

The course will run in MyUni from 15 March, and will be available until 23 April 2021.

The time commitment is approximately 2 hours each week comprising of engaging with content, brief learning tasks, and asynchronous collaboration and discussion in weeks 1, 3, 4 and 5. There are tasks designed to demonstrate your learning which will need to be completed if you wish to receive a certificate for your professional development records.

Please register your attendance by no later than 5pm Monday 8 March.
