The Adelaide Digital Capabilities Framework was designed with the aim to develop digitally capable graduates.
The Adelaide Digital Capabilities Framework is funded by the University Library and the Pro Vice Chancellor (Student Learning) with Beacon eLearning funding. The Framework has been adapted from work by Jisc UK, a digital solution company, and includes a student and staff profile. Digital Capabilities are fundamental skills for transforming student and staff experience and are critical for academic and career success.
Learning and Quality Support (LQS) are dedicated to supporting the framework by enabling staff, and in turn students, to explore and build their current and future digital capabilities. LQS aim to do two things:
- Support the sharing of quality information and guidance on digital capabilities
- Support the sharing of quality resources for building digital capabilities
LQS are engaging with other University teams through presentations and workshops on digital capabilities and identifying opportunities for digital transformation. To find our more about our strategy, or to get involved, please contact the team.
LQS has created two interactives to highlight staff and student digital capabilities within the framework, please access these below. Start by clicking the staff or student interactive and then clicking each digital capability.
- Discovery Tool
A discovery tool for assessing your digital capabilities has been provided by Jisc UK. The tool takes between 10-15 minutes to complete and asks a series of reflective questions. You will receive a report with a summary of your current skills and areas for growth, and suggestions on the 'next steps' that you can take to grow your digital capabilities.
- Key Resources
A number of quality resources, including case studies, links to external information and explanatory videos, are available through the University Library.
LQS have created a direct mail toolkit for digital capabilities. If you would like a copy of the toolkit please contact the team.
