Bachelor of Finance and Banking New
Master money
Professional finance and banking is the art of managing, and maximising, money at every scale—for individuals and households, right up to giant corporations and governments.
Success requires strategic thinking, political awareness and business savvy. Our Bachelor of Finance and Banking gives you the knowledge and skills to excel.
What will you do?
Studying full-time over three years, you’ll gain in-depth understanding of:
- international trade, banking and financial markets
- retail and institutional banking, and its relationship with government and business
- the principles and impact of monetary policy
- major asset classes and investment options
- specialised financial institutions.
You’ll also build strong skills in:
- wealth and risk management
- business data analytics and statistics
- financial modelling.
And you’ll develop the critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills to clearly formulate and deliver monetary advice.
Where could it take you?
You could enter the commercial banking sector helping businesses fund their growth. You might become a financial advisor, helping people retire in comfort. Perhaps you’ll trade financial instruments in the ASX, or help shape government monetary policy.
