Tom Moore is one of Australia's leading glass artists.
His engaging, sophisticated and technically challenging hybridised animal/plant sculptures - and the fantastical worlds they inhabit - are embedded in the history of glassmaking and scientific discovery. His vitreous bestiary series was inspired by curious images in the famous 15th century Nuremberg Chronicle of which the Library has a facsimile which will be displayed.
