Membership at the University Library provides access to a first-class collection.
Community borrower membership is available to all South Australian residents.
While the library is open to the general community to come in and browse, by signing up for community membership you will get to borrow from the library's extensive collections. Community membership costs $150 per year.
Borrow up to 20 items for 4 weeks (with automatic renewals)
Borrow 3-hour High use Collection items (no automatic renewals)
Support with finding information and using the library from our Ask Library team.
Electronic resource access is available using the public access computers within the library. These allow you to search most of our databases, noting that some electronic resources are restricted for use only by University of Adelaide staff and students. It’s important to know that you won't get access to online resources from home due to licensing restrictions (i.e. remote electronic access is not possible).
