The Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) provides up to date guidance on good data practices, data management plans, provenance, versioning, publication and citation, and many other relevant practices on their Researcher Hub.
Managing your Research Data is a comprehensive online course that helps you prepare, organise, analyse, keep, and share your digital research data. While the module is designed primarily for research students, sections will be useful for research supervisors and researchers new to the University.
For HDR students: the course attracts 3 CaRST credits upon completion and the uploading of a data management worksheet. The worksheet forms the basis of your Data Management Plan, which is due at 6 months and at completion of your candidature.
