Reading Room closed for Adelaide Festival event

The Barr Smith Library Reading Room will be CLOSED from today, Tuesday 13 March, until Sunday 18 March due to set-up for an Adelaide Festival show being held this weekend.

All items held in this area are still able to be retrieved if you request them via Library Search.

The work titled ANIMAL will see the The University of Adelaide’s historic Barr Smith Library be transformed with a light, sound and video installation that captures the beauty of Australia as experienced by someone who’s seeing it for the very first time. In turns breathtakingly beautiful, poignant, and playful, ANIMAL will show you Australia as you’ve never seen it before.

ANIMAL will be held this Friday 16 March and Saturday 17 March from 8:30 pm until midnight.
