New look Westlaw

Two people working together using a laptop and looking very, very serious.

Westlaw AU is a legal research database providing access to case law (including the Australian authorised law report series) plus legislation, legal commentary, journals and more. Thomson Reuters have recently changed the look & feel of Westlaw AU, though the content remains the same with some additional resources.

The University Library will changeover to the new platform on Monday 19th July 2021.

To help you transition to the new-look Westlaw we have created a guide outlining the key changes.

You can also access training videos and guides from Thomson Reuter and a pre-recorded training session from Paula, Liaison Librarian - Law.

Thomas Reuter provides training to teach students how to skilfully navigate, access and retrieve legal materials and implement effective legal research strategies.
