The University Library’s space usage has increased since 2022, with the data indicating a return to pre-pandemic levels of access! Within the first half of 2023, physical visits to the Library were at 299,458, which is a 76,000 increase compared to the previous year.

This week we say THANK YOU to our student volunteers! This year’s theme for National student volunteer week is ‘Passion. Opportunity. Change.’ This explores how students can create change worldwide by giving their time to a cause they believe in. Read the story of Elizabeth and Stefany Limanto, two sisters that arrived in Australia in February to study at the University and decided to become volunteers at the Library.
Bookings essential! Join us on Saturday 17 October for a special benefit concert for the Barr Smith Library with the Jane Austen Society of South Australia. This will be a unique performance of pieces from Jane Austen’s rich collection of manuscript music books.
Mid-semester break is already upon us and there are changes to the opening hours for some of the University libraries. View current and upcoming opening hours information.
