Refurbishment at the Barr Smith Library

Starting Monday 5 August 2024, the northern ends of Level 1 and Level 2 of the Barr Smith Library will be closed for refurbishment. This is phase 2 of the Library's refurbishment project, which includes installing new furniture, upgrading toilet facilities, and creating a brand new entrance on Level 1, opening onto the Barr Smith Lawns.

The Barr Smith Library has just become the first library in South Australia to introduce sleep pods, providing our students with an innovative way to recharge during their busy schedules. These state-of-the-art EnergyPods, are designed to offer a quick and effective way to rejuvenate!

Ask the Library: Why are Course Reading lists important and what resources should I include?

The University Library supports access to course reading materials for students via the Course Readings tool in MyUni, which allows you to share learning materials with students, including readings, videos, textbooks and more. As Semester 2 approaches, we encourage staff to create or roll over their readings lists as early as possible.
