Computer and workstation offers for staff and students

Need a new laptop or equipment at home, or a home office workstation?

University of Adelaide staff and students can access competitive prices for computers and related equipment via a new online portal initiated by ITDS. Through the portal, you can purchase personal devices from CompNow, the University’s preferred supplier for computer devices, using the competitive pricing available to the University, and have them delivered directly to your home address.

When considering purchasing a computer that will have work-related use, ITDS recommends the purchase of laptops rather than desktop computers to support future ways of working, and agile ways of working into the future.

Ergonomic workstations are also available to University of Adelaide staff, for home use, from two of the University's office suppliers. University of Adelaide students can also access these discounted prices.

A benefit for staff and students

The University is supporting this initiative as a benefit for staff and students at the University, and to support working or studying from home. The computer portal may be used for purchases for personal use at home, or a gift. For information on tax claiming, if applicable, refer to the ATO or seek professional advice.

Accessing the portal

To access the portal, simply register here with your University of Adelaide email address, and set a password. Purchases can be made by credit card or direct debit transfer. You can find out more here
