Copyright Considerations for Your Thesis, Tuesday 24 September

Don’t get caught out by copyright...

Get to know what copyright is and how it relates to your thesis in this one-hour seminar.

We’ll explore the basics, such as what and who copyright protects and how long it lasts, before taking you through the steps needed to ensure copyright compliance for your thesis. You will also learn about how copyright protects you and your rights as an author (both of your thesis and of future publications).

By the end of the workshop you will:

  • Understand the basics of copyright
  • Know how and when you can use third party copyright materials in your thesis
  • Understand your rights as an author, both of your thesis and of future publications
