Mid-year orientation

A big welcome to everyone about to begin their studies! This week is mid-year orientation and we have compiled some of the services and support offered during your time at the University. We are here to help you succeed.

To get started, find out all about our different locations and opening hours. Some of our study spaces are also bookable, including study rooms and computers. We have solo study booths, group study tables, quiet zones, and quiet discussion areas. One of the most popular places to study is the Reading Room on Level 2 of the Barr Smith Library, which has a wonderful, academic history and studious atmosphere.

Consult one of our How Do I guides to begin finding information for your assignments. You'll find self-help guides on searching effectively, using databases, referencing styles, subject specific resources, and more!

If you have any questions about using the library, including how to search for information or borrow items, contact our helpful Ask Library staff

For the full list of library services available, check out our Services for Students page.

We wish you the best of luck with your studies!
