Dust off your creative spark and present your research in a 60-second video or audio-visual presentation and you could win $1000! Submissions are now open for the 2023 Visualise your Thesis competition. This competition is open to higher degree by research students and is a great way to hone your research communication skills.

Winner of the 2023 Hugh Martin Weir Prize

The Barr Smith Library and Weir family are pleased to announce that Ashley Dennis-Henderson has been awarded the 2023 Hugh Martin Weir Prize.
Access changes to Level 2 North

Starting Monday 3 April 2023, the Library will begin its refurbishment of Level 2 of the Barr Smith Library. The first stage of the refurbishment will be in the Reading Room. Please note, there will be no access to the Reading Room from 3 April 2023 to 29 May 2023.
