Dr Victoria Fielding is the lead researcher on the Murdoch Referendum Accountability Project, funded by Australians for the Murdoch Media Royal Commission. This Masterclass will uncover the findings of this project, which aimed to closely monitor the Murdoch Press’ Voice referendum coverage, shining a light on the extent of their biases. The session will also discuss why it is important to hold news media accountable for their influence on democracy.
