Membership at the University Library provides access to a first-class research collection.
Community borrower membership is available to all South Australian residents.
While the library is open to the general community to come in and browse, by signing up for community membership you will get to borrow books and other items from the library's extensive collections. Community membership costs $121 per year, and to join as a community member you must be a resident of South Australia.

Access to electronic resources: it’s important to know that you won't get access to online resources from home due to licensing restrictions. We have public access computers that will allow you to search most of our databases, but there is limited access to public computers. Some electronic resources are restricted for use by staff and students.

You can borrow from any of the University of Adelaide Libraries, although there are some books or items that will only be for use in the library - please speak to an Ask Library team member for more information.
