TAFE/VET Credit Calculator
At the University of Adelaide we appreciate the hard work that you have already done in gaining qualifications through VET providers such as TAFE SA. In many cases we are also happy to give you credit through our growing range of pre-approved pathways.
There are two types of credit:
- Specific credit - awarded in recognition of prior learning which has equivalent outcomes and assessment to a University of Adelaide course.
- Unspecified credit - awarded in recognition of prior learning undertaken at a particular Australian Qualifications Framework level (e.g. Certificate IV, Diploma).

Unspecified credit
If you have completed a VET/TAFE qualification in any study area you may be eligible for credit towards a range of degrees at the University of Adelaide. The following table lists the University of Adelaide degrees for which you may be eligible for credit.
