HSW Reporting Timetable

The University’s HSW System includes formal quarterly reporting involving the following structured process:

Action Approximate timing
Consolidation of quarterly HSW information for each Faculty/Division from University systems and recent audits Immediately following the end of the quarter
Draft reports are sent out to key Faculty/Division HSW staff End of the 2nd week after the end of quarter
Finalised reports are sent out to Faculty/Divisional Heads End of the 3rd week after the end of quarter
Faculty HSW Meetings (and in some areas School HSW Meetings) consider the reports and provide feedback on completed actions and other strategies with regard to safety issues  End of 8th week after the end of the quarter
Minutes from the Faculty HSW Meetings are provided back to the Director, HSW End of the 10th week after the end of the quarter)
The Due Diligence Report for the quarter is drafted End of the 12th week after the end of the quarter
The Due Diligence Report is reviewed and authorised by the Chief Operating Officer.  
The Due Diligence Report is provided to the Audit, Compliance and Risk Committee for the next scheduled meeting. At next available meeting
The Due Diligence Report is provided to Council for the next scheduled meeting. At next available meeting
The Due Diligence Report is provided to Faculty/Divisional Heads to enable them to undertake further Due Diligence. At next available meeting
