Enterprise Agreement

Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021

This Agreement is made under section 72 of the Fair Work Act 2009 and is known as the University of Adelaide Enterprise Agreement 2017 – 2021. Though the agreement notionally expires on 30 June 2021, it remains in force until it is replaced.

On 16 September 2021, the Fair Work Commission approved a variation to the Enterprise Agreement known as Schedule 8 Job Protection Framework due to COVID-19. That variation expired on 30 June 2021 and is no longer in force.

Increase in employer superannuation rate

In accordance with clause 3.3.2 of the Enterprise Agreement, on 3 July 2021 the employer superannuation contribution for staff engaged on a fixed term basis will increase to 17% (from 9.5%).
