Testimonial

My first placement was in the stroke/neuro ward of the royal Adelaide Hospital. On day six of the placement, one of my patients had a second stroke in front of me. Their airway was compromised and I had to go straight into action. I started basic life support, alerted others for help, and kept their airway open. It was a tense situation, but because of my training and the University's simulations, I was confident in my abilities and the patient survived.
